This Copyright & Ownership Policy explains ownership rights, usage rights, licensing conditions, and intellectual property rules governing all Content created, uploaded, generated, distributed, or monetized on the WillsRecord Platform. By using WillsRecord, users agree to this Policy, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Monetization Policy, and all other applicable Platform policies.
"Content" refers to any audio, music, songs, lyrics, vocals, voice models, beats, instrumentals, media, artwork, files, prompts, metadata, or other materials created, uploaded, generated, distributed, or stored on the Platform. "Paid Users" refers to users with an active paid subscription. "Free Users" refers to users using the free-tier version of the Platform. "WillsRecord" refers to WillsRecord Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensors, successors, and authorized partners.
Paid Users retain usage and commercial exploitation rights to songs and Content they create using the Platform. However, Paid Users grant WillsRecord equal, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable rights to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, display, analyze, commercialize, and otherwise exploit all Content created, uploaded, imported, or generated through the Platform. WillsRecord may utilize such Content for: • AI model training and improvement • Machine learning development • Platform optimization • Product improvement • Marketing and promotional activities • Research and analytics • Licensing partnerships • Distribution partnerships • Commercial opportunities • Future products and services • Other lawful business purposes No prior notice, approval, or compensation shall be required unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Free Users do not own Content generated through WillsRecord’s proprietary AI tools, systems, models, or services. All Content generated by Free Users through the Platform shall be the exclusive property of WillsRecord. Free Users are granted only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use such Content for personal, non-commercial purposes within the Platform unless expressly authorized by WillsRecord. WillsRecord may use, modify, reproduce, commercialize, sublicense, distribute, license, sell, or otherwise exploit such Content without notice or compensation.
Users remain solely responsible for any content they upload to the Platform. By uploading Content, users represent and warrant that: • They own or control the necessary rights • They have obtained all required permissions and licenses • The Content does not infringe third-party rights • Samples, loops, vocals, stems, and other third-party materials have been properly cleared • The Content complies with applicable laws and regulations Users accept full legal responsibility for uploaded Content and any resulting disputes, claims, or liabilities.
Users acknowledge and agree that: • All Content, whether created by Free Users or Paid Users, may be used to train artificial intelligence systems • Content may be used for machine learning, model evaluation, testing, research, analytics, and system improvement • Content may be incorporated into future technologies, products, and services These rights are perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and survive account deletion, content removal, account suspension, or account termination. To the extent Content has already been incorporated into AI systems, such rights cannot be revoked.
WillsRecord does not guarantee exclusivity of generated Content. Users acknowledge that: • Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users • Similar lyrics, melodies, arrangements, vocals, beats, or creative elements may appear elsewhere on the Platform • AI-generated outputs may not be unique
Users may only create AI voice models or synthetic content using: • Their own voice • Properly licensed voices • Authorized datasets Users may not: • Clone celebrity voices without authorization • Replicate artists without permission • Misuse likeness rights • Create deceptive deepfakes • Generate unauthorized synthetic replicas WillsRecord reserves the right to remove, restrict, flag, or investigate any content suspected of violating these requirements.
Receiving WillsCoin rewards, creator incentives, revenue shares, affiliate earnings, or platform payouts does not automatically alter ownership structures established under this Policy. Participation in monetization programs does not grant additional ownership rights beyond those expressly stated herein.
Content may remain stored, archived, processed, analyzed, or retained following account deletion, account suspension, or account termination where necessary for: • Legal compliance • Security investigations • Fraud prevention • Platform operations • AI system development • Historical and business records
Violation of this Policy may result in: • Content removal • Monetization restrictions • Earnings forfeiture • Account suspension • Permanent account termination • Legal action where necessary
By accessing or using WillsRecord, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Copyright & Ownership Policy in full.
WillsRecord may update this Policy at any time to reflect legal, operational, technological, or business changes. Updated versions may be communicated through website notices, dashboard alerts, email notifications, or platform announcements. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
